The North Country Trail
The North Country Trail is a national trail currently under development. A completed portion runs through Canastota and Cazenovia, approximately 10 miles from Manlius and connected to Fayetteville by the Old Erie Canal State Historic Park. Part of the trail passes through the Stone Quarry Hill Art Park and the Nelson Swamp Unique Area. It is promoted and maintained by the Central NY North Country Trail Association.
